AJ&D Chapelhow create bespoke windows in a variety of shapes and styles. Handcrafting arched windows, round windows and angled heads to your requirements
Here at AJ&D Chapelhow we pride ourselves on our ability to create bespoke windows in a variety of shapes and styles. For anything that is out of the norm we will make a template to work from. Our team of skilled craftsmen work from detailed drawings and templates to ensure that your windows and doors fit the shape you require.
- Templates are taken when measured or CAD Drawings are produced by skilled members of teams
- Timber is then laminated and formed for non-geometrical arches , blocks are finger jointed together for geometrical arches
- New software is linked to the Windor 60 SCM Machine – or we will programme ourselves to cut the peaks and rakes.
- We can then use the router for geometrical arches or for non-geometrical arches traditional methods are used to create the arches, the timber is then assembled for finishing.

The making of Gothic Arches
These gothic arched windows were designed, created, sprayed and then glazed from start to finish here in the workshop for a Wesleyan Chapel in a local village.
The chapel was built in 1852 and is now a private residence.
