Procedure and timescales at AJ&D chapelhow

 

1. Initial Enquiry:

You can contact us either by email on sales@ajdchapelhow.co.uk or phone us on either 01931 585 101 or 01931 714 289  where you can speak to one of our friendly customer services staff about your project. If we are to supply and fit your project we will, at that time, also arrange for one of our team to come to your property to discuss your requirements. Alternatively you are more than welcome to make an appointment to visit us here in Cliburn where you can meet the team and visit our showroom.
If you are working with an architect or builder we are happy to accept window and door schedules/specifications for an initial quotation.

2. Quotations:

If we are both supplying and fitting the project our field management team will visit your property to take initial measurements and discuss style and specifications. Alternatively, if we are only required to supply the goods, you, your architect or builder can provide schedules/specifications to us.

After our initial site visit, or having received detailed specifications, we will then produce a costed quotation, which will be emailed to you - or posted if you do not have email - together with other supporting documentation and a customer sign-off form. This process generally takes between 5 - 7 working days. We will then follow-up with a phone call to ensure you have received your quotation. If you require any changes to the specifications detailed in the quotation you can call or email us and we will discuss the changes with you and make any necessary amendments. We will then produce a new revised quotation for your review. Only when the quotation accurately reflects your requirements, and we have received your signed acceptance will we proceed.

3. Site Survey (supply and fit projects only):

Once a quotation has been accepted, we will arrange for a further site survey to take place, where detailed measurements can be taken and where templates can be made if necessary.

4. Manufacture / Delivery:

Once all parties are happy with the specifications the manufacturing process will begin. The customer service team will contact you once your products have been manufactured in order to arrange a convenient despatch (supply only) or installation date (supply and fit).
Our manufacturing lead times will vary depending on the size and complexity of items being manufactured and how busy our workshop is. Please contact us for further details.

5. Installation:

Our installation team are highly experienced, they work tidily and efficiently and they pride themselves on having an eye for detail, customer satisfaction is their/our sole objective and we encourage customer feedback to help us improve our service.
When installation is complete we will 'walk the job' with you to ensure that you are happy with every aspect of the project before you sign it off.

6. Customer Services support:

If you need to contact us at anytime after your job has been completed, for whatever reason, you can rest assured that we will respond positively and attend to your query at the earliest opportunity.
